  • Whew. Just finished supporting two magazine Superbike shootout tests this week that will be in coming issues of Cycle World and Road Racing World. We don't have a magazine test fleet bike (too cheap!), so we shipped them one of our engineering test bikes that had some hard, hard miles on it. Completely stock bike, but had plenty of dyno miles and extreme duty data collection miles. Made it pretty with new bodywork and it looked really nice.

    We don't know the results, but keep your eyes open for the tests. I'm am sure both magazines had fun with the bike. Now it gets shipped back from its vacation to go back to work in engineering!

  • OK. Everyone should have seen the race by now. If not...SPOILER alert.

    Geoff put in a superb ride on the Amsoil/Hero #99 EBR 1190RS, coming up from 8th place to actually take second for a while, battling with Roger Hayden, who would eventually take back second place on the last lap. Geoff finished a couple tenths behind Roger and a little more than 3 seconds behind winner Blake Young. It was amayzing!

    Danny who was banged up from a morning crash, rode a great race also on the #69 Team Hero EBR 1190RS, and finished 6th, putting on a last drive to finish only .001 behind 5th.

    It was quite a weekend for EBR, and a real tribute to all who have helped us fight back to better than ever. What an honor to be racing with the famous import brands for podium spots in AMA Pro Racing Superbike!

  • BTW, kudos to SPEED's coverage of the AMA Pro races. They talk about all the races going on between riders inside the top ten, about the riders, about the teams and brands with real knowledge. They are making huge progress.
