2009-2010 CHARGING SYSTEM ROTOR MODIFICATION

EBR's service for 2009-2010 1125 owners wishing to lower the temperature of their stator which is intended to enhance its durability. We machine and wire EDM an orifice in the rotor that directs cooling oil at the stator. This modification is done on an exchange basis, and a core of $250 is included in the price.

With this service, we will send you a modified rotor. Once you receive our rotor, please fill out the core return form that is included with the modified rotor, and send your core back to EBR. The core charge will be refunded once your rotor arrives, is inspected, and approved.

We strongly suggest that a new rotor nut be purchased and torqued to 295 ft-lbs, per 2010 model year service manual recommendations. Please refer to your service manual for the appropriate procedures.

NOTE: REMOVE YOUR SPRAG BEARING! You will reuse this on your EBR modified rotor. You will be charged return shipping if it is left on your core.
***
To ensure that you receive credit for your core return, ensure that it is packed well to prevent damage in shipping. CORES THAT ARE DAMAGED IN SHIPPING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A $250 CORE REFUND.
***
To ensure available stock, all cores MUST be returned within 45 days of shipment to you. If you fail to do this, you may not receive your core refund.
